I went from a Toshiba Qosmio X505-Q898. This MSI GT70 2OD-019US runs circles around the Qosmio. It's lighter, sleeker, and faster. It comes with Windows 8 which I had not used before. I did the free upgrade to 8.1 and found a cool start button replacement that makes using Windows 8.1 just like using Windows 7.
