I bought this device the most wonderful very fast RAM works great big processor speed did not regret for a moment to buy one this device I advise everyone to buy this device especially as it was at a very attractive price. I would have appreciated a DVI port, even if it were to replace the VGA, or two HDMI ports, but I'm making it work.
The Lenovo IdeaCentre K430 unit has 6 USB ports (4 USB 2.0 on the back and 2 3.0 on the front above the CD drive), which seems a little...lacking, but someone who needs more ports can easily purchase a USB hub. The card-reader supports even the massive older types of cards, which means that though you may have upgraded your computer, rest assured that your camera will still be with you for many years to come.
The computer itself runs like a charm. It boots Windows 8 in 11 seconds and runs Minecraft with maxed visuals without even so much as a sneeze (something many laptops and older computers have issues with). Windows 8, while functional, is counter-intuitive at best for someone who uses a computer for more than just email/web browsing and playing solitaire. Go Amazon.
This Lenovo IdeaCentre K430 intel i7-3770 Processor 3.9 GHz desktop is fast and powerful. I am still trying to stress test it but so far it has taken everything I have thrown at it. Gaming, video work and photo editing have been pretty easy so far. It also has a stick shift on the top for more power! Win 8 is what it is, but I spend most of my time on the desktop anyway. Furthermore, Windows 8 appears to cater purely to two markets: touchscreen and new users.
